About Us
Charlie Pickard is a London born Figurative Artist, illustrator, and author based in London. Trained in the classical style and with a focus on a direct and spontaneous approach to oil painting, he is primarily interested in exploring the expressive qualities of colour and explorative brushwork. Charlie continues to create, write, exhibit, and teach from their London studio.
Charlie has recently collaborated with the publisher 3dtotal to author a book on color and light, exploring their fascinating interplay. Additionally, they have authored two books on anatomy for artists.
His work is primarily exhibited in London and has exhibited in show around England and Portugal.
